No need for yeast in the crust - the beer does the rising action! In Okinawa, Sapporo Beer makes terrific crust!
- 12 oz. can beer
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
Mix the above ingredients in a large bowl. Spread onto a greased cookie sheet. Place in hot oven for a few minutes. Check and pop bubbles with a knife or sharp object. Continue to bake until dough is starting to brown.
- 1 can Contadina pizza sauce
- pepperoni, browned sausage, mushrooms, etc.
- Mozzarella cheese
Spread sauce over the dough. Top with pepperoni and other meats, then cheeses.
