PAUL L. BJORK (November 21, 1969 - March 8, 2015), of Los Altos California, suffered sudden cardiac arrest on Sunday morning March 8, 2015 while exercising. He will be greatly missed by the children he loved dearly: Stephanie, 12; Kevin, 11; and Rami, 8.
He also leaves behind loving parents Carla and Larry Bjork of Los Altos; sister and brother-in-law Kristie and Blair Ewen of Redding, CA; and former spouse Rana Khaled of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Paul will also be missed by a large extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends and colleagues.
In his youth, Paul attended Montclaire Elementary in Los Altos, and Cupertino Middle School, where he enjoyed band and sports, especially soccer and baseball. He graduated from Homestead High School in 1988, where he had been well known for swimming and water polo. He attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where he studied Management Information Systems, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1993.
He was a generous and endlessly energetic man who loved people, and will be remembered as a devoted father and good friend to many. His skills in deploying SAP and management information systems led him to be a widely respected consultant in the industry. Employers included Price Waterhouse, Softline, KPMG, Deloitte, Bearing Point and most recently Softtek where he was Vice President of ERP sales for North America.
